Wyd Benny's Next Album Is “Pretty Much Done”

Gittyman sat down with Duff Radio on July 22, and buried in the conversation was the first real update on Wyd Benny's next tape: it exists, it is close, and it grew straight out of Bennington Ave.

Asked where the new project sits next to Bennington Ave, he laid it out plainly, word for word:

“...Think about, like, Bennington Avenue. It's still got that similar bounce to it, and we still kept the basis of that sound, but we built off of it. It's a little bit more experimental than the last one. So, you know, still that same type of swag to it, that smoothness to it, but a little bit more experimental. So yeah, look out for that. I don't believe he named the tape yet, but it's pretty much done. We just need to do some marketing for it and distribute it.”

So the headlines, straight from the room: the Bennington Ave bounce survives, the foundation of that sound stays, and the new material pushes further into experimental territory while keeping the swag and the smoothness. No title yet. The music is pretty much done. What remains is the unglamorous half of putting out records: marketing and distribution.
